Hill Street Blues 1991 detective game

Hill Street Blues (1991, United Kingdom)
Hill Street Blues was a 1980s show about every day lives of police officers in an urban environment, and this game aimed to recreate the atmosphere and the nature of the show. The player is put in charge of the precinct, meaning he will have to deal with everything that is going on in this part of the city. But it does not mean that you will spend a lot of time behind the desk - apart from assigning the patrol zones, you will be in control of one of the officers or (in some cases) more than one.
Every day starts, just like in the show, with the roll call from Sgt. Esterhaus, after which you wait for the crimes to be reported and... well, get to it. And, to be exact, get to your car and drive to the crime scene. The cases you will have to deal with can vary, it could be bag-snatching, could be vandalism, but could be much more serious. You get the description of the suspect, so you have to search the area looking for him. In some cases, you also have to catch him, because not every suspect will just let you put the cuffs on.
With each day the number of the crimes reported can increase, which means you will have to work on few cases simultaneously, which means you will have to control few officers at the same time, which is not an easy task. Nevertheless, Hill Street Blues was an interesting adaptation of the TV show, recreating the atmosphere of the original and giving user a chance to see how tough the work of police officer could be.
