August 2022 was not a great moment in the history of The Lone Detective game - we were still working on the game formula, there were 2 cases available and in the whole month only 2 users gave them a try, far less than in previous months. By the way, none of those two in August 2022 actually solved any case.
But for the last 12 months, The Lone Detective made some progress - we worked out the details of the interface, we fixed the data problems, we created the formula for different types of cases, the number of cases has increased to 8, we introduced Frey Account and mobile interface. And also something unbelievable happened - the number of users grew. And grew. And grew. And then grew some more.
And now, August 2023 has ended as the best month in history. Within those 12 months we went from 2 users to over a 1,000 in a single month. What is more, those were users literally from around the world - United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Syria, Greece, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Israel, Italy, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom. It would be hard to list them all.
That is why we would like to thank all the users who visited our game, who gave the cases a try, those who actually caught those nasty killers and, of course, those who made donations to help us work on the improvements of The Lone Detective. We are currently working on few premium cases that will be available to the donors (they deserve something special), but also on few tricky cases for everyone to enjoy. Thank you all for the unusual last 12 months of constant growth!
