body description

(anonymised), in early 20s, height about 5’9" - 5’10", slim build, weight about 9 and a half stone, fair complexion. Visible bruising around left temple and forehead, most likely effect of blunt trauma. Abrasions and bruising on knuckles of both hands. Dislocation of the thumb on the right hand. Several healed abrasions on the hands and forearms.

Lack of water in the lungs might suggest he was dead or unconscious before the car ended up in the water.

Blood tests revealed painkillers and high amount of alcohol in the organism. No food found in the stomach, 23 barely digested pills of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). There were no signs of LSD in the blood.

Time of death: body was in the water for hours, but my best estimate would be around 18:00 to 20:00 on 21st September 1968.

Cause of death: undetermined, suspected fatal drowning.
