The car was found parked next to the owner’s house. Apart from a small dent in the front bumper, there are no signs of the car being in any sort of incident. The dent was most likely caused by being hit by a small rock or piece of tarmac, perhaps ejected by some other car in normal traffic.

Inside the car, only fingerprints of the owner and his wife were found. There are no signs of violence inside the car. Inside the glove compartment (anonymised) found an envelope that contained $5,000 wrapped in banknote strap. The only fingerprints that we were able to secure on the banknotes and envelope belonged to (anonymised).

Below the driver’s seat we found a concealed weapon, Colt Detective Special, caliber .38, serial number 11724R, strapped to the side of the seat using duct tape. Partial fingerprints found on duct tape and gun belonged to (anonymised). Further test proved that the gun was not recently used.

We could not find any fingerprints around the spot, where the perpetrator entered the house, which could mean he was wearing gloves. On the pieces of broken glass, we have found cotton fibers and tiny pieces of hardened plastic, which might suggest the perpetrator was wearing some sort of workman gloves.

During the search of 2003 Ford Taurus wagon, we found $5,000 USD in cash hidden in the glove compartment. The banknotes looked almost new and were wrapped in banknote strap, which suggests they were withdrawn from the bank in that form. Money were within envelope and hidden under map.
