I arrived at the scene around 10:36, (anonymised) was waiting in front of the house. As she told me she did not entered the house, she only touched the door when she opened it to look inside. From the front door the body of (anonymised) was clearly visible at the bottom of the stairs. There were no signs of perpetrators still being on the scene.

I checked the house from outside and noticed that glass was broken in window of dining room. I secured the area below window and finished the inspection of the house before detectives arrived. Apart from the broken glass there were no signs of violence outside of the house.

Couple’s car, brown Ford Taurus wagon, registration plate 6822 TE, was parked next to house. Windows were closed, doors were closed, but not locked.

report content

While checking information about victims I stumbled upon police report from Georgia, in which (anonymised) was listed as suspect in murder of his first wife. On 3rd September 1991 (anonymised) and (anonymised) were attacked by unknown, masked perpetrator, who broke into their house in Fairburn, Georgia and attacked them with blunt instrument. (osoba_1) survived the attack with light head injuries, while his wife died from her head injuries. There was broken window in the living room, but according to original investigators, it looked staged.

After lab did not found any physical evidence left by the perpetrator (anonymised) became person of interest, especially when investigators learned about his wife’s life insurance that he would benefit from. Soon after second interrogation (anonymised) stopped to cooperate with local police and six months later moved to Maine. Due to lack of evidence against (anonymised) the case never reached the court, although he still was the prime suspect.
